SAFETY STANDARDS

A Structured, Responsible Motorsport Experience

At Nubra Kart Adventure, safety is integral to the experience. Operating at high altitude requires thoughtful systems, trained supervision, and clear protocols. Every session is conducted within a regulated framework to ensure riders can enjoy the track with confidence and peace of mind.

Rider Eligibility

  1. Participants aged 5 years and above are permitted to ride

  2. Solo drivers must meet minimum height requirements (typically 1.3 m / 4’3”)

  3. Two-seater karts allow greater flexibility for younger passengers

  4. No driving licence is required

  5. Final eligibility is confirmed on-site to ensure rider safety.
     

Mandatory Safety Gear

  1. All riders are provided with certified protective equipment, including:

  2. Full-face ISI-certified helmets

  3. Karting suits and gloves

  4. Rib protectors and neck braces

  5. Guidance on appropriate closed-toe footwear

  6. Personal safety gear must be worn at all times while on track.
     

Supervision and Monitoring
 

  1. Each session begins with a mandatory safety briefing

  2. Trained track marshals remain present throughout all races

  3. On-track activity is continuously monitored for safe conduct

  4. On-site first aid is available at all times

  5. Medical facilities in Leh are accessible if required

  6. Daily inspections and routine maintenance ensure all karts operate in optimal condition.
     

Operational Regulations

  1. Sessions are conducted only during approved operating hours

  2. Night racing is regulated and supervised, maintaining the same safety standards as daytime sessions

  3. Weather and track conditions are assessed continuously

  4. Management reserves the right to pause or stop sessions in the interest of safety
